MCM-08 Gather is a contemporary wall object that combines Buldan’s natural linen-cotton weave with bio-based, industrially biodegradable 3D printing. The traditional textile surface is repurposed through directly applied digital production layers, transforming into an innovative and sustainable design surface.
In the composition, organic forms approaching the center from different directions create a sense of meeting and gathering on the surface. The close relationship established between the pieces brings individual forms together in a common composition, while the balance of color, space, and volume lends a strong sense of unity to the design.
Each piece developed within the MCM Series reflects the DOU Craft Studio design approach, bridging traditional textile production with contemporary digital manufacturing techniques.
