MCM-01 Totem is a unique wall object that brings together natural linen-cotton fabric woven in Buldan with bio-based, industrially biodegradable 3D printing materials. Through three-dimensional printing applied directly onto the textile surface, the natural woven texture becomes part of a contemporary and sustainable production approach.
The composition features two organic forms positioned on a vertical axis, transforming into a modernist interpretation of a totem. The contrast between the natural texture of the fabric and the distinct surface of the 3D print gives the product both a visual and tactile character.
Every piece developed within the MCM Series reflects the DOU Craft Studio design approach, which blends traditional textile production with contemporary digital manufacturing techniques.
