MCM-07 Stack combines natural linen-cotton fabric woven in Buldan with bio-based and industrially biodegradable 3D printing material on a single surface. The production, carried out directly on the fabric, creates physical and visual integrity between the textile and the three-dimensional form.
Organic forms positioned in different sizes and directions in the composition create a layered structure by coming together side by side and on top of each other. The close relationship of the forms with each other creates a modular and balanced unity on the surface, while 3D printing strengthens the perception of volume and depth of the composition.
Each piece developed within the scope of the MCM Series reflects the DOU Craft Studio design approach, which brings together traditional textile production with contemporary digital production techniques.
