Subaşı Bronze Ring is dedicated to Subaşı from Altar Kaplan's novel 'Halifeler Köyü'. The stern attitude of this official, who accompanied judges and clerks, makes the relationship between authority and the census journey visible. The overlapping wide pieces of the ring form a shield-like surface on a round band. Soft curves and a distinct outer line emphasize the form itself rather than ornamentation.
