Crush takes its name from the feeling of being squeezed, curled, and spontaneously shaped. Especially the strong folds in the upper section move away from the classic vase form, transforming the piece into a small ceramic sculpture.
Hand-formed with a wabi-sabi approach, the raw textures, color transitions, and irregularities on the surface have been specially preserved. It is a powerful decorative object on its own; when used with large, knotty dry branches, the character of its form becomes even more pronounced.
