Second, its design is distinctly retro, which is due to a revival of a writing instrument that existed in the 1920s. It looks a bit like a mechanical pencil, but it's not; This is Drehgriffel No. 1: it means 'bending pen'. The hexagonal body is made of precision-milled aluminum and brass and uses a spring-loaded bending mechanism to extend the tip. Dimensions: 127 mm long, 9 mm diameter, 12 g weight. It is supplied with a royal blue document-resistant ink refill in the standard 'Parker style' G2 configuration, so there are plenty of options when it comes to refilling. It is presented in a simple triangular gift box bearing the LEUCHTTURM1917 branding.
