Anatolia's Endemic Heritage Reflected in Glass
This special collection, bringing the fluid forms of nature and the dynamism of water into living spaces, comes to life through glass artist Esra Balcı's interpretation. Inspired by the Abant trout (Salmo trutta abanticus), one of Anatolia's rare and endemic species, this piece is a completely handmade design utilizing masterfully applied fusion glass techniques. It conveys the elegance of water and the natural form of the fish to the space in an abstract language.
Strong Stance, Elegant Display
The naive texture of the glass is balanced by the robust stance of the industrial kiln-painted black metal base. The one-sided (front-facing) design ensures a perfect appearance on consoles, niches, mantelpieces, or wall-parallel display areas. The simplicity of the matte black metal highlights the light plays and color transitions of the glass.
