In this special square stone tray, we present the "Damascus ware" (Şam işi) style, which dates back to the 16th century and belongs to the transition period of Iznik tile art, with a modern interpretation. Numerous examples found in Iznik excavations clearly reveal that the production center of these tiles was Iznik. However, since similar examples of these works in similar colors are also seen in Damascus, they are known by the name "Damascus ware".
It has been transferred onto a 26 cm square stone tray using traditional tile methods.
Entirely handmade.
