Sahara Blues Vadi Necklace

The Vadi Necklace is inspired by the dualities that shape life in the desert: life and death, water and thirst, earth and sky, scorching heat, and bone-chilling cold.

One of the landscapes I encountered in Morocco was the date palm groves stretching along the Draa Valley. The deep blue of the sky met the dry earth and the green of the land. This scenery, where green meets the soil and life stands alongside aridity, allowed me to witness the desert's unique balance. The sand dunes, shaped day by day by the dry earth and wind, bear testament to the desert's constant transformation.

The name 'Vadi' (Valley) was born from the idea of bringing these contrasts together in one place; for me, it expresses the convergence of different worlds.

Handcrafted from brass with Lapis Lazuli and Malachite inlays, and featuring an adjustable Brassghetti chain, the Vadi Necklace is a piece inspired by this ever-changing structure of the desert.
