Riven is a unique decorative object that highlights the natural movement of the material and the marks of hand-shaping rather than perfection. With its round body, irregular mouth form giving a fragmented feel, and raw surface transitions, it creates a sculptural effect in any space.
Entirely hand-shaped with a wabi-sabi approach. The color transitions, texture differences, and irregularities on its surface are a conscious part of the design. It can be used as a standalone decorative object or complemented with dry branches and large, natural-formed plants.
As each piece is handmade, small differences in form, surface, and glaze transitions may occur.
