The wool threads used in the knots are dyed using madder, that is, natural materials. For example, to obtain the red color, wool threads are boiled with rose petals and the yarn takes on the color of the rose petal; Yarns dyed in this way are called yarns dyed with madder. Carpets produced from threads dyed with madder have a brighter appearance as they are used. On the other hand, this carpet is a top quality carpet in terms of weaving density and is woven with the Turkish knot, in other words, the double knot technique; Thanks to this feature, it is more durable and has a longer life compared to Persian carpets. Finally, approximately 900,000 hand knots were tied in the weaving of this carpet.
