Spine Necklace is entirely handcrafted, inspired by the rhythmic and powerful form of the spine. Brass and bronze pieces are brought together on a black waxed jewelry cord. The spinal form at the center defines the character of the necklace, while the metal details placed on the cord continue the raw and sculptural language of the design.
Surface marks and minor formal variations resulting from hand craftsmanship are a deliberate part of the design. The natural patina developed over time by brass and bronze allows the Spine Necklace to gain a unique appearance as it is worn.
