Handmade Ceramic Matcha Bowl

Kōri gets its name from the distinctive ice-effect cracked tissue at the bottom. This crystalline structure created by the glaze during firing creates a strong surface sensation that appears frozen in the lower section of the bowl. Every crack, every pattern is accidental and characteristic of the glaze used. This makes the bowl visually different.

The soft green tones and dark transition band on the upper section create a balanced contrast against the ice-effect lower surface. The pouring ridge on the spout allows for controlled and comfortable use when preparing or serving matcha. Its inner surface is smooth; suitable for whisking.

All of them are hand-shaped and made of stoneware mud. Each product is individually made, and there is only 1 piece of each.
