This bowl is not shaped on a lathe, but by hand using a coil technique applied by placing mud on top of each other in small pieces. Since each piece is placed one by one, a natural rhythm and texture is created on the surface.
glaze combination used on the inner surface allows blue, turquoise and warm amber tones to create natural transitions during firing. Each piece therefore has its own unique color distribution.
