Handmade Ceramic Matcha Bowl (chawan)

Aomidori gives a calm, balanced feel, with soft blue-green gradations and natural flow marks appearing on the glaze surface. While the mottled texture of stoneware mud is preserved on the outer surface, lighter and duller layers of the glaze are seen on the inside.

On the inner surface of the container, natural ring marks radiating from the center outwards and tonal differences that occur during the furnace process visually enrich each piece. This internal pattern adds depth to the product both when preparing matcha and serving liquids.

The hand-shaped katakuchi form offers controlled and comfortable use thanks to its pouring mouth. Suitable for matcha blend, sauce, milk, or everyday culinary use.

Each product is produced individually; glaze flows, patterns on the inner surface and tones may differ on a piece-by-piece basis.
