BEEF
It's so much more than BEEF...
Although steak is an integral part of American culinary culture today, it was first used as "Steikja" in Scandinavian language in the middle of the 15th century and became popular in Italy. During the Florentine Medici period, large bonfires were lit in the squares to commemorate the patron saint Lorenzo. Meat cooked on this fire was liked by everyone, and the term "Bif Steik" was used to cook more meat. For this reason, it is said that steak is a part of Italian cuisine and that a piece of meat was used for the first time in Italy under the name steak.
