MCM-03 Dialogue brings together natural Buldan linen-cotton weaving with bio-based and biodegradable 3D printing materials on the same surface. The three-dimensional production carried out directly on the fabric adds a new layer of volume and expression to the surface while preserving the tactile character of the textile.
Two open organic forms positioned across from each other in the composition establish a visual communication. These two forms, which approach each other but do not merge, create a strong sense of encounter through space, direction, and balance. The contrast between the natural texture of the fabric and the voluminous surface of the 3D print strengthens the spatial impact of the composition.
Each piece developed within the scope of the MCM Series reflects the DOU Craft Studio design approach, which brings traditional textile production together with contemporary digital production techniques.
