The Subaşı Bronze Ring is dedicated to the character Subaşı in Altar Kaplan’s novel "Halifeler Köyü". Representing the strict attitude of this official who accompanied judges and scribes, the ring reflects the relationship between authority and journey. Overlapping wide bronze pieces form a shield-like surface over a round band. Soft curves and distinct outlines emphasize the form itself rather than mere ornamentation.
