Asterias Atelier emerged as a design practice that began with paper and gradually opened up to different forms. At its core lies a way of thinking shaped by simplicity, carefully considered details, and a production process that refuses to be rushed. Our products are not designed for fast consumption, but as objects that gain meaning through use and naturally accompany everyday life. We value function as much as form, and the experience of use as much as visual appearance. At Asterias, material is an integral part of the design process. We use FSC-certified papers in our paper-based products, and work with materials for our design objects that prioritize function and durability. Asterias Atelier is a studio centered on slow production, timeless design, and a sincere creative process.
