Kilim is a flat woven textiles with no pile where is produced in Anatolia Turkey. The greatest reason why the word kilim which is part of Turkish culture passed over the word literature is oldest Kilim found had Turkish motives on them. The difference between kilim and carpet is carpet has knots kilim has no knots. Kilim patchworks are selected 30 - 70 years old and traditional hand woven Turkish kilims. They are collected all around of Anatolia's villages from Turkey then cleaned and washed carefully, original pattern are kept. After all these processes they cutted in different sizes then they are sew together like bringing pieces of puzzle from traditional hand craft to contemporary art. Also their back is sewn buckram and cotton cloth. That clothing strengthens the rug.
