Resonance in Silence
Sound is not something that is always heard.
Sometimes it is only felt.
"Resonance in Silence" serves as a reminder that music exists in spaces, not between notes. As the lines move over the score, the figure almost turns into a memory; The sound travels like a vibration overflowing the surface of the paper.
It's not just a melody that's being played here.
Time is stolen.
The wait is stolen.
An inner silence gains a voice.
The music is written, but the reverb is invisible.
This work searches for the very invisible — the vibration that exists before it is heard.
