Lidya Dilmener was born in 1991 in Istanbul. His passion for jewelery and value creation in the workshop that his father and uncle founded in 1976 influenced him at an early age. While creating new forms and concepts with art disciplines, he discovered that he was exactly where he wanted to be. In his personal life, the places he lived in, architecture, art, film, music, stories of others, understanding nature and cultures inspired him. He was interested in what drives people and why they do what they did when they were in the creation stage. While he was looking for a deep meaning about life issues, he was always looking for how to reflect this to his jewelery design. This is exactly the vision of Lydia's jewelery creation process. As Joan Sonnabend put it, "It wasn't about diamonds, it was about aesthetics." While following in her father's footsteps, Lidya Dilmener chose a path in the field of design in her academic life. She graduated from the Instituto Europeo di Design University in Milan with a degree in Jewelry Design. After her graduation, Istanbul rolled up her sleeves to return to her roots and establish a niche jewelry brand. As the designer of the brand, he has always been influenced by architecture and nature.
