Yel Studios

Yel Studios is an Istanbul-based design studio founded in 2021 by designer/interior architect Elif Aybüke Turgut and ceramic artist/designer Yalçın Yeşiltepe. The duo focuses on the limitless aesthetic possibilities offered by the craft, concentrating on the search for simple and inspiring refinement. His work covers a variety of industrial design projects, from limited edition series. With a common passion for art and design, they aim to convey the versatile structure of ceramics through their product designs. The products, each handmade through design, evoke tactile and emotional power. Yel symbolizes a new formation arising from the derivation of the names of the founding partners Yalçın and Elif.
