We are Ahenk and Güneş — two friends who love dreaming, drawing, and playing with colors. Through our characters and compositions, we enjoy building entirely new worlds and telling surreal stories. We draw inspiration from the spirit of carnival — a space where social order, norms, and hierarchies are turned upside down; where chaos, humor, and freedom are celebrated. It is with this spirit that our brand, The Carnivalist, born in Istanbul in 2024, brings our dreams and ideals together with the expressive power of art. Blending art and design within this spirit, our brand comes to life through products that go beyond the ordinary and spark the imagination. Each of our designs aims to make the surreal worlds we create with our own drawings a part of everyday life.
