Setoso Atelier

WORKSHOP
Setoso Atelier is an initiative that derives the roots of its design from nature and its strength from its own workshop in Denizli.
For us, a piece of furniture is not merely a functional object. It is a quiet luxury filtering into the living space, a companion that gains character over time. Every single piece takes shape under the same roof, from design to the final touch.
Workshop Culture
We believe in the character of boutique production, not the anonymity of mass production. We leave the trace of the human hand in every grain of wood and on every lacquered surface. We take materials in their rawest form and transform them into pieces built on form and balance. Our production process does not rush. Because true quality takes time. The production period usually ranges between 7-20 business days; this timeframe ensures that each piece receives the care it deserves.

Material and Form
Our collection is built upon two foundations: solid wood and lacquer.
Solid wood carries nature's own story. The grain, knots, and color tones vary in every piece. These variations are not flaws, but character. They deepen, live, and grow more beautiful over time. Lacquer, on the other hand, offers a smooth, fluid surface that reflects light. It transforms form into a sculptural stance. When combined with minimal lines, it adds depth to the space. These two materials speak the same language: simple, strong, and enduring.

Design Approach
At Setoso Atelier, design does not chase trends. The balance of function and aesthetics, the state of being simple yet meaningful, and long-lasting use are our core principles. Every piece is envisioned to form a connection with its user. We stand against fast consumption. We prefer what is essential, refined, and lasting.

From Denizli
Our workshop is in Denizli. Here, both design and production meet in the exact same place. This proximity allows us to oversee every stage and intervene in every detail. We work with the freedom that comes with being a direct manufacturer.

The Story of a Piece
A Setoso piece is not just a piece of furniture. It emerges when the days spent in the workshop, the patience of the hand, the nature of the material, and the balance of the form come together. And when it arrives at your home, it quietly accompanies the rhythm of life. In pursuit of form and naturalness.
