Hi! I’m Duygu. Pinchwerk is my creative space where I design bold, characterful pieces that stand out. I combine traditional ceramic techniques with modern and daring forms to create handmade objects and pieces that bring a unique touch to everyday tables. I draw inspiration from the natural forms of the human body, creative energy, and ancient symbols. Each piece is not only about aesthetics, but also carries a story, a feeling, and an energy. I mostly use a hand-shaping technique called pinching. This process is entirely instinctive and organic; sometimes, historical forms take on a bold modern twist, and other times, a playful detail adds a touch of humor. Every day, I keep exploring, creating, and telling new stories through ceramics.
