Ruhen Aromatherapy

The story of Ruhen Aromatherapy is, in fact, the continuation of a larger dream that began in 2019 with "Filiz’den Taş Ev." When founding Filiz’den Taş Ev, our starting point was the idea that the products we use in our homes should be made with ingredients that are as natural as possible, respectful of nature, and supportive of the cycle of renewal. This production philosophy—which began with foods prepared using traditional methods from seasonal produce and gradually expanded to cover other household needs—lives on today in various forms. Ruhen was born as one of the fruits of this very philosophy. With the opening of our store in Istanbul, we began translating the production experience we had accumulated over the years at Filiz’den Taş Ev into a new world—one shaped by scents, light, incense, and rituals. At Ruhen, we never view the elements we take from nature merely as raw materials. When selecting ingredients such as natural beeswax, soy wax, pure essential oils, botanicals, and resins, we prioritize their origins, production methods, and how they transform within the natural cycle. We avoid unnecessary synthetic ingredients, allowing natural materials to retain their unique character. Each of our products is entirely handmade; consequently, we view any slight variations in color, texture, or form not as flaws, but as authentic traces left by nature and craftsmanship. For us, sustainability is not just a production method; it is an integral part of our relationship with nature. Ruhen Aromatherapy continues to create, drawing inspiration from nature and respecting its rhythms, all to craft small spaces within daily life where we can reconnect with ourselves.
