Riven is a unique decorative object that highlights the natural movement of the material and the traces left by hand-shaping, rather than perfection. With its rounded body, irregular rim that gives a fragmented feel, and raw surface transitions, it creates a sculptural effect in any space.
Fully hand-shaped with a wabi-sabi approach, the color transitions, texture differences, and irregularities on its surface are intentional parts of the design. It can be used alone as a decorative piece or complemented with dry branches and large, naturally formed plants.
As each piece is handmade, slight variations in form, surface, and glaze transitions may occur.
