In the tale of Illuyanka, the serpent represents a powerful force of nature confronting the Storm God. It reflects the struggle and the restoration of cosmic order symbolically.
The original artwork is hand-carved into a linoleum block and subsequently hand-printed onto handmade recycled barley paper. Each print is unique due to the handmade process and may show minor variations.
