Fleek

The name comes from the slang “on fleek” - a phrase used when something is stylish, perfect, on point. We left the “on” behind and kept the “fleek”. Then we turned it into FLEEK - in ALL CAPS. Just remember ALL CAPS when you spell the brand name! Recently launching the music-driven YouTube channel Smooth Booth, hip hop collector Mehmet Ali “maliayan” Ayan kept hearing the same question whenever he wore pieces from his snapback collection: “Bro, where’d you get that cap?” Instead of just answering the question, he asked himself a different one: “Why don’t we make something even better ourselves?” And that’s how FLEEK was born. From the initial idea to production, he took on nearly every step himself. With the support of illustrator and writer friends who believed in the vision, and after a long period of preparation and production, FLEEK’s first series - First Drop - came to life. Each snapback model was designed by one of four incredibly talented artists. For hip hop heads, for skaters, for hoopers, for those who prefer color over grey walls… For us, by us… A rooted culture, a new brand…
