Burcu Yıldız Archive

Burcu Yıldız is a multidisciplinary contemporary artist working between Izmir and Paris. Her practice focuses on perception, thresholds, and public space. “The Doorway, Paris” is an ongoing visual and conceptual archive that explores doors as points of transition within the city. Each doorway represents a subtle boundary between public and private, visibility and concealment. These editions are selected from images collected through the artist’s walks in the city, each documenting a distinct threshold experience. Her research on perception and spatial behavior has also been referenced in international academic studies.
