For many years, I worked in the skies — yes, I was a flight attendant. I saw countless cities, met people from all walks of life, and became an expert at packing a suitcase. But deep down, I was dreaming of slowing down and putting down roots. The idea of a simpler, more creative life quietly began to take shape within me. Then I discovered ceramics. What started as a simple curiosity quickly became the center of my life. Working with clay, shaping it, and witnessing each piece emerge from the kiln, this is what fulfilled me the most. I named my brand after someone very special in my life; my dog, Freddie. His joy and the comfort he brings gave me the courage to give this journey his name. Today, in my cozy studio in Beyoğlu, Istanbul, I create mugs, plates, decorative objects, and jewelry all inspired by nature. Each piece is handmade, carrying a reflection of my love for simplicity, timelessness, and the natural world. Freddie Ceramics is more than just a brand; it’s the name of a new way of living, a heartfelt decision, and a journey shaped with love.
