Pachamama

Pachamama is the greatest god of the indigenous peoples of Latin America. For me, this word, which is synonymous with Mother Earth, symbolizes the earth that offers us all its blessings, rather than a god. Around the time I came across this word, I was aware that my mother was nearing the end of her life. The thought of burying her made me give a different meaning to Pachamama.
