Hello, I'm Merve Örge. I was born in Istanbul in 1992. I graduated from the fashion and textile design department in 2014. After working in advertising for about 7 years, I decided to create my own brand. The inspiration for this decision came largely from the clothes knitted by the mothers of my close friends for their grandchildren. The dedication and joy they showed while making these clothes impressed me. I started very modestly, but later continued to grow my business by working with women in different parts of Turkey who knit at home to earn extra income. My brand, Meeno Baby, primarily focuses on hand-knitted clothing made from 100% organic yarns. However, in response to demand and requests, we have also added a ready-to-wear collection, emphasizing comfort and simplicity. For me, Meeno Baby is not just a clothing brand, but also a business model that aims to value women's work and be sustainable. I am very happy to have embarked on this journey and hope to continue growing and supporting more women every day. Throughout this process, we, as the entire MeenoBaby team, share the joy of bringing organic and handmade products, which have become increasingly important worldwide, to mothers, fathers, and babies.
