Zoe Batıques

Zoé Batiques is a project shaped by the circular transilience of nature’s four elements — fire, water, air, and earth. Like all natural phenomena, the materials used in each piece embody these elements and exist in constant transformation. Nothing remains fixed; pigment melts, water moves, air dries, fire seals. For this reason, every Zoé Batiques work emerges into existence as an unrepeatable form. An original interpretation of the ancient Indonesian painting technique Batik, reimagined through a contemporary lens, the project dissolves the linear process of time into a circle of layered surfaces. Each work unfolds through accumulation — and beneath all layers, a dream quietly resides.
