Bekiru

Having started his professional career as a mangaka ( Manga Artıst) in 1999, Linguist/ Artist BEKIRU ( Bekir Sert) , is doing what he does as a linguist, in his art too: seeking the algorithms for human being. He draws and paints on canvas and wooden panel using primarily acrylic and ink. And then he produces the silk edition of these paintings. These silk agents can appear in any forms: such as framed silk prints, kimonos, scarves or pocket squares. The artist often calls himself a "visualist". So, drawing, which is his biggest passion, can present itself in any form anytime.
