Rainy Foods is a food and design brand inspired by the deep-rooted olive culture of the Aegean region, approaching olive oil not merely as a product but as a way of life. The brand was founded in the village of Yağmurlu in Manisa by young female entrepreneur and farmer Aybüke Berber. Rainy places nature-respectful production, collaboration with local producers, and a sustainable food culture at its core. The brand not only produces its own olive oil but also brings together gift collections—created in collaboration with women producers and women’s cooperatives from different regions of Türkiye—with corporations and companies. This model offers an approach that aims to make local producers’ labor visible while fostering a circular economy. Today, the Rainy product range is not limited to olive oil alone. It aims to extend the value offered by the olive tree into different areas through products such as olive oil soap, items made from olive pits, olive oil chocolate chips, and olives. Rainy Foods’ fundamental approach is to be a brand that supports women’s labor, works with local producers, and contributes to building a sustainable food culture.
