An Adventure of Art and Design This journey, which began with graduation from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in 1994, is a story of mastery where academic knowledge meets studio practice. My tenure as an instructor in the department from which I graduated, as well as in various other institutions, has enabled me to speak the intricacies of traditional Turkish arts through the language of modern design. Within Emel Gemici Art Studio, we do not merely preserve the thousands of years of Turkish pattern heritage; we recontextualize it to harmonize with the soul of modern living spaces.
