Why fresh grind?

Why grind our own flour? Of course, it is cheaper than buying it from the market, but nothing compares to freshly ground flour: who prefers a sterile product when there is a flavor bomb exploding with aromatic and healthy foods! All nutrients are present as a whole in seeds ground as whole grains. It is very difficult to find this in industrial flours sold in markets. It is impossible to find the aroma and flavor gained by the essential oils and nutrients that emerge during and thanks to this grinding in ready-made flours. We can compare this to the difference in flavor between a freshly ground coffee and instant granulated coffee. The relationship between a flour that is not known when it was ground and packaged and freshly ground flour can be compared to a blackened (that is, oxidized and quickly lost its nutritional value) apple that is sliced and kept waiting, and an apple eaten by biting; As food products break down, their contact with oxygen increases and they spoil quickly. In practical terms, unground whole seeds can be stored for much longer without spoiling.

With komo grinders, you can finely grind whole grains, legumes, and spices, as well as small, lean seeds, and even coffee beans. The essential nutrients and dietary fibers of whole grains, such as magnesium, iron, B vitamins and valuable vegetable proteins, remain in the flour.

Why not give the foods your body needs, as close to their natural state as possible? Once you've tasted the difference, there's no going back!

  • Komo superiority

in stone mill businessKomo company, which has been producing since 1985, exports to 65 countries today. All of the production is handmade in their own workshops in Austria and continues with love by 85% disabled staff.

Komo is a world brand

We can attribute Komo's being the most well-known stone mill brand to the fact that it does not compromise on the following features:

Motor

At the heart of Komo mills is the patented grinding technology. All components made of non-wear materials and placed with millimetric measurements provide a quiet, powerful and continuous stone grinding operation.

Stones

Our grinding stones are made of Corundum Ceramic, a material that is resistant to wear and does not need to be sharpened. This material, which we discovered in 1985, is now standard in all Komo mills. Thanks to the maintenance-free nature of these stones made of Ceramic and Aluminum Oxide, their self-sharpening and super strong structure, machines that have not been replaced for 30 years are still available on the market. A blockage as a result of inserting the wrong product into the chamber (such as oilseeds) is also not a problem; You can restore the stones to their former state by grinding rice at a coarse setting.

Long Life

All Komo products are designed and manufactured with many years of trouble-free operation in mind. All raw materials used are sourced from the strongest materials available and sustainably sourced. To ensure the continuity of quality assurance, 100% of the production is made in Austria

Easy

to Use Using Komo machines is extremely simple. After turning on the button and adjusting the thickness by rotating the chamber left and right, you can start the grinding or crushing process. Without the need for any tools, you can turn the hopper two turns to the thick adjustment side and open the mill and easily reach the grinding stones for cleaning. To find the finest setting, first turn the bowl in the direction of fine (fein) until you hear the sound of stones rubbing against each other. Then rotate it in the direction of coarse grain (grob) until the grinding noise stops. You've found the finest-tuning right now!

  • Stylish Design

We care about the outside of our machines as much as the inside, and we create perfect designs that simplicity brings. Durability applies to the materials we use outside as well as the internal mechanism. Solid woods used in local and quality furniture production gain a brand new appearance after being sanded and oiled as needed.

    Robust Packaging

After our products are produced with great love, they should be able to reach your home intact. We have taken every precaution to prevent damage to this valuable and cherished product during the shipping phase. Thanks to our shockproof packages with special components, you can be sure that your orders will reach your home without any problems.

With the help of these symbols, you can easily understand which food the Komo tool you bought can grind. The seeds given as examples are a small selection from the food universe that you can grind with your machine and are given to guide you.

In general, you can grind all seeds that are not oily and moist with your mill. Oilseeds can be crushed by all crushing tools.
