Stracci Sipria is an experimental Crystal Gelato Couture design that completely rejects the classical understanding of the bag surface; treats the crystal not as an ornamental element, but as a directly structural and sculptural mass.
The body of this model is designed by deliberately avoiding regular sequences; formed by superimposing needle-like, leaf-like, and segmented crystal forms at different angles. Instead of forming a single plane on the surface, the crystals produce microvolumes that explode outward and collapse inward >. This structure gives the bag a coral-like, organic, and almost vibrant texture.
The crystal mesh does not aim for a classic "bright and smooth" reflection. Rather, it exhibits a high-diffusion surface behavior which fragments, scatters, and refracts light. In this way, the bag produces a light-shadow character that constantly changes in motion; It exists with the perception of intensity and depth rather than a fixed color.
The silhouette of Stracci Sipria is based on a soft hobo–sculptural form in which the crystal mass concentrated in the lower section opens slightly upwards. The body is not a rigid structure forcibly shaped by the endoskeleton; It was created with a free architectural approach that allows the crystal weave to be shaped by natural weight distribution and gravity.
The upper carrying handle is one of the most distinctive engineering elements of the bag. It's not like an insert with a handle; designed as a one-piece arch that rises naturally from the crystalline tissue of the body. The curvature angle of the handle is balanced to prevent the crystal density from pressing in the hand; During transport, the weight is homogeneously distributed along the handle.
This model does not have zipper, lacing or mechanical closure. The upper opening creates an inlet that naturally narrows thanks to the volumetric density of the crystal surface itself. This approach makes it possible to access the internal volume without compromising the sculptural integrity of the bag.
The internal structure consists of a compact volume with one compartment. Despite the intense perception created by the crystalline mass from the outside, the inner section is balanced to maintain form. The inner surface is reinforced with a high-strength transparent epoxy layer that fixes the crystal mesh from the inside; Thus, the risk of loss of form in long-term use is minimized.
Stracci Cipria is positioned as a portable couture object rather than an accessory. Within the Crystal Gelato Couture range, the surface tongue is one of the most aggressive, volumetric and experimental models.
