Everything started with a sewing machine… In 2016, I took my first step into the world of fashion by studying pattern making at Vakko Esmod. In 2017, I focused on pattern preparation at Çolpan İlhan Fashion School, and in the same year, I completed the pattern making program at Kariyer Eğitim. My passion for design and production gradually turned into a way of life. In May 2023, in Eskişehir, I sewed my first bag using the sewing machine at home. This first step quickly evolved into a brand: Bej Store. After establishing our brand, I began offering our products on sales platforms. With the positive feedback and increasing number of orders, I moved production from home to a workshop. Today, my sister and I design, sew, and turn our ideas into reality together in our own workshop. At Bej Store, we focus on sustainability, understated elegance, and craftsmanship. In our designs, durability, natural materials, and timeless aesthetics take center stage. Our production process includes the following steps: Design: Each product is designed with a balance of functionality, aesthetics, and timelessness. Clean, simple lines offer a long-lasting sense of style. Pattern Making: The patterns for our products are prepared meticulously, based on my professional pattern-making background. Cutting and Sewing: All cutting and sewing processes are carried out carefully by hand in our workshop. We prioritize originality and quality over mass production. Embroidery Applications: With the embroidery machine we have added to our workshop, we create motifs that add character and individuality to our products. We can also offer custom designs upon request. Material Selection: We source our fabrics from local producers and have them made using natural or recyclable materials whenever possible. This allows us to stay true to our sustainability values while keeping our supply chain local. Handcrafted, Local, and Sustainable Production Our goal is to create bags that stand out with their simplicity yet have a strong character—bags that can accompany everyday life in every moment. Bej Store is not just a product, but a lifestyle proposition.
