Once upon a time, in the ancient forests where Native American tribes lived, it was believed that every part of nature held a special meaning. In these tribes, fans were not only used to stay cool on hot days but also to ward off negative energies and cleanse the aura. These fans were crafted from a sacred tree whose spirit was believed to give them a unique power. One day, a young warrior went to his tribe’s wise shaman, seeking to free himself from the dark energy surrounding him. The shaman handed him a fan made of special wood and fabric and said, “Cleanse yourself with this fan. The spirit of its wood will purify your soul and drive away negative energies. The warrior gently waved the fan, dispersing the darkness around him. With every movement, the bad energy faded, and his aura began to shine once again. From that moment on, fans were seen not only as tools for cooling but also as symbols of purification and inner peace. Each time the tribe members used their fans, they cleansed their spirits and protected themselves with this wise gift of nature. Centuries later, inspired by this ancient wisdom, I created the brand joyNest to help people reconnect with that same energy in the modern world. joyNest fans are not only for the summer heat — they are designed to refresh your energy and lighten your spirit when you feel overwhelmed indoors or in crowded spaces, and to add a unique touch to your photos and parties. Our fans are made abroad using bamboo wood and fabric. Currently available in 7 mottos and 5 colors, our collection will continue to expand throughout the summer season.
