Rakk Atolye was founded in Istanbul in 2016 by two female entrepreneurs. While both founders continued their careers as teachers, they discovered a childhood fascination with leather, which eventually evolved into a workshop journey. Adding new designs every day keeps our excitement and desire to create alive. In our workshop, we produce many products such as bags, wallets, card holders, pencil cases, glasses cases, laptop cases, and passport cases entirely using traditional methods. All the leather we use is obtained from the recycling of waste cowhide. Ensuring that no living creature is harmed during the production process is the most fundamental criterion we embrace in doing this work. All our products are original designs and patented. Each piece is produced individually, entirely by hand stitching. We do not use machines at any stage of production. We can personalize our products with names for customers who wish; however, what truly makes our products special is that each one is skillfully and patiently handmade. Rakk Atelier continues to produce in its Istanbul workshop and bring its timeless designs to its customers.
