I believe that everything has its time and every journey brings us back to our purest self. My story began during my sociology undergraduate studies in the halls of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, shaped by the very spirit of art. The unstoppable excitement of design and the passion for creation that defined my 20s were the first seeds planted in my heart. For many years, I navigated the corporate world as an advertising and brand manager, moving between strategies and plans in a "white-collar" tempo. Yet, my soul—always an art lover and a maker—secretly yearned for the raw scent of materials and the freedom of creating with my hands. Becoming Ekin’s mother in 2023 was one of the greatest turning points of my life; it allowed me to redefine the concept of perfection and my search for it. It reawakened the design dreams of my 20s from a much more mature and intuitive place. Leaving the "perfectionist" pressure of the corporate world behind, I founded Nirodha in Istanbul in 2021, merging that early passion with the wisdom of today. For me, Nirodha is not just a jewelry brand; it is a meditative space where I silence my mind, set aside the rulers, and trust only the flow of my hands. Not knowing what I will create when I enter my studio is my ultimate freedom—allowing the metal to tell its own story without confining its nature. Today, in my studio in Balıkesir, where I moved in search of a calmer life, I craft pieces that live and evolve with you. Because I know that the most beautiful story is the one that is raw and intuitive—just like life itself, in defiance of perfection.
