My story with this brand started when I was taking a look at my then ballet dancer mom's youth photographs and I noticed it was taking me to a different world. The straw bags, retro outfits, objects and mainly simple themes always felt exciting. I was living abroad at that time and was planning to move back to Turkey. I was planning to realize the inspiration by using natural and local materials. "itina" means with special care in Turkish. I would like to continue working with a special care. itina.co  is a "slow brand" that values handicrafts and nature. I work with farmer women who are based in North of Turkey. They make the yarn out of hemp fibers and use some for making rugs and to send some to me. I make crochet bags With those handmade yarns. For noW I have 4 category products; rug, bag, lavender scented bolster and Upcycled rattan trays. Except the rattan Fabric in the trays, every Raw material I'm using is local. Found the rattan fabric From Stash of A Basket weaver. Planning to add more products Along with the growth of my brand.
