Product Story
Huila, one of Colombia's largest coffee-producing regions, is known for the quality of its beans. Coffee farming in the region is almost entirely small-scale, with farmers typically owning an average of 1.5 hectares of land. These small farms are managed by individual families, which leads to more extensive and intensive cultivation practices and a great deal of labor and flavor in the final product.
These special beans from the Huila region are grown entirely in the sun. From April to September, they are harvested, washed and dried in the sun. It's a full-bodied choice with an exquisite sweetness, candied stone fruits, dates, raisin acidity, and a noticeable dark chocolate flavor.
