The kurotsuchi matcha set reflects the strong and simple spirit of the black earth. Each piece is handmade and only 1 piece was produced. "Kurotsuchi" means "black earth" in Japanese. This set was inspired by the deepest tones of the soil and the unique textures of nature. The crimson and grey transitions on a dark matte black background resemble layers of volcanic terrain. It presents the inner power of nature in a simple form. Each ceremony invites you to your roots. Features of Kurotsuchi Seti: • It is completely handmade. • The parts are individually shaped on a lathe and finished with special glazes. • Only 1 piece was produced. The same is not done. Set Contents (2 Pieces): • 1 matcha bowl (chawan) • 1 tea glass (yunomi) Optional: • 1 bamboo spoon (chashaku) • 1 bamboo beater (chasen) How to use? Put the matcha powder in the chawan, add the hot water, and quickly beat in a "W" shape with a bamboo beater. When foam forms, it is ready. Place your whisk on its stand, pour it into your cup, and sip the peace of the earth. Note: Surface differences due to handmade production are natural and add character to each piece.
