Idilius Jewelry is an artisanal slow-made jewelry brand based in Istanbul. The person behind the brand is İdil Laslo, the granddaughter of Sabahattin Ali, the famous Turkish writer. Trained by master jewelers of Grand Bazaar, from the designs to crafting all her pieces is made by herself at her studio. Her obsession with moving mechanisms influences her designs. Spinning flowers, swaying leaves and many other moving mechanisms are incorporated in idiliusjewelry pieces. Her pieces aim to invoke the wearer’s sense of surprise when they discover color changing stones or pieces dancing with body movements. With each piece, a fun and exciting feature included in a way they are wearable toys that change color, click, shake, rattle, sway, or spin.
