Born on October 5, 1995 in Istanbul, Bahar Benzet kept strengthening her connection with fine arts, which she first met in her ballet training at her early ages, with her Graphic Design studies, that she focused on during her high school and university years. After graduating from Istanbul Kultur University, she worked as a 'Graphic Designer' and later as an 'Art Director' in the creative departments of many agencies. After realizing her first group exhibition with the "We Draw for Özgecan" initiative of Marmara University Fine Arts Department, Benzet had the opportunity to add a new perspective to her design studies thanks to her "Visual Merchandising & Window Designer" role that she has been undertaking for several global brands since 2019. Benzet, who also works as an art therapist, continues her personal projects related to graphics and design as a 'freelancer'. The effort to transform the situations that induce the emotions in her inner world into an abstract expression through the disciplines of illustration, line art and collage, by using visual storytelling, has recently been at the center of her work.
