Laika was founded in 2019 as a brand where the painting and textile designs that Işıl Kurt has worked on for many years get combined. These unique designs, sewn with fabrics where all hand drawings are transferred with a special printing technique, want to create a tailor made feeling specially prepared for each one. Patterns, each with their own story, turn into timeless designs with precious fabrics. Laika Collection is not only limited to clothes, but also with ceramic, paintings and hand-woven rugs, aims to bring this story to the whole habitat of life. Laika chooses to make production in cooperation with local manufacturers. Just as in the creation process, approaching the production process with the same care is the most important feature of the brand to reveal its products.
